CHRIS STEER, ESQ

Founder + Head Coach

As Founder and CEO of STEER and STEER Lab, Chris  brings extensive experience leading and developing executives, teams, and organizations as a seasoned entrepreneur and operator, business and leadership advisor, and attorney. He has founded and partnered in several achievement-oriented businesses while also serving as a trusted advisor and counselor to hundreds of organizations and leaders. 

Chris earned his undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and his law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law. Chris serves on the Board of Directors for Next One Up and Johns Hopkins Lacrosse Advisory Board.

As a former Division 1 college athlete and a longtime coach, Chris has a deep passion for effective leadership and high performance. 

BAILEY AIMES

Partner + Program Architect

Bailey Ames designs how leaders learn. She translates powerful ideas into practical systems leaders can actually use—bridging the gap between knowing and doing.

With deep experience in leadership development and organizational strategy, Bailey ensures every module is intentional, disciplined, and built for real-world application.

Endurance athlete and marathon runner. Understands consistency, long-game discipline, and performance under fatigue. Also trains daily in adaptability while chasing two toddlers.

Advisor + Performance Coach

Amy Larkin is a seasoned executive with 25+ years scaling teams and building high-performance cultures. She played a pivotal role in Under Armour's growth from startup to global brand.

At STEER Lab, Amy ensures the content stays grounded, relevant, and aligned with the realities leaders face every day—sharp, operational, and execution-focused.

Amy has wo children competing in collegiate lacrosse. Understands the standards, discipline, and resilience required to compete and lead at the highest level.

MISTI AARONSON

Advisor + Strategist

Misti Aaronson is the operational mind behind the scenes. A former COO and executive operator, she excels at turning big ideas into executable systems—> the processes, tools, and rhythms that make strategy real.

At STEER Lab, Misti shapes content, refines course design, and ensures ideas translate into clear, practical action. Thoughtful, precise, and deeply reliable.

Misti is a certified yoga instructor and long-time practitioner of Bikram yoga and mindfulness. Her daughter competes in basketball. Sustained excellence requires both structure and self-awareness.
